Phillip Black, registered patent attorney, focuses his practice intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Phillip earned a B.S. in chemistry from Creighton University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
Phillip is focused on serving businesses driven by innovation. Throughout his career Phillip has provided patent prosecution services to clients ranging from start-ups to large international corporations, and has worked with foreign counsel to secure foreign patent rights in the Eurpoean Union, Canada, China, and Japan. Phillip uses his experience and understanding of the process of obtaining intellectual property rights to help clients develop strategies to achieve their business goals.
Currently, Phillip is a member of The State Bar of Texas - Business Section and The Montgomery County Bar Association. Phillip is also an active member of the Conroe Noon Lions Club. Outside of the office, Phillip enjoys many outdoor activities, including golfing, hunting, fishing, and cycling.
